Since the introduction of high coercivity metal tape, the need for a
powerful degausser capable of erasing Betacam SP, D2 and Mll has become
essential.
In keeping with a policy to recognize user requirements, RTI has introduced an addition to its established range of bulk tape erasers - the low-cost V91M.
Designed to meet the needs of low volume users, the V91M is a compact low noise manually-operated unit that sits neatly on a table top. But no compromise has been made when it comes to performance. With figures in excess of 75 dB for high energy metal tapes and up to 90 dB on standard oxide tapes, complete erasure is assured every time. And for as little as 20 seconds per cassette, erasure times are quick.
