Jonathan Banks Appointed Lipsner-Smith Vice President and General Manager in U.S.

Mark McMullon to Head Up UK Office

We welcome Jonathan Banks, current Managing Director of RTI-UK Ltd., to Lipsner-Smith headquarters in Lincolnwood.

Jonathan is Vice President and General manager of the Lipsner-Smith Subsidiary.

Simultaneously, Mark McMullon, former RTI UK Sales Manager, has been appointed Senior Operations Manager of RTI-UK Ltd.

Both appointments reflect RTl's commitment to maintaining a leading role in the global search for ecological and effective alternative technologies for the film equipment industry.

Jonathan, a Fellow of BKSTS, is one of a handful of internationally recognized experts in the technical aspects of film cleaning and restoration. He will remain Managing Director of our UK office as well as take on new responsibilities at RTI's world headquarters.

RTI's promotion of Jonathan and Mark coincides with Lipsner-Smith's expanding role as an industry leader in finding effective alternatives to methyl chloroform film cleaning solvents, as mandated by the Montreal Protocol.

Eastman Kodak Company and Lipsner-Smith Collaborate on New Film Cleaning Fluids

Eastman Kodak Company, the leading name in motion picture film...and LipsnerSmith Company, the recognized world leader in film cleaning technology, have been working together since 1993, in the quest to find new film cleaning fluids to replace methyl chloroform...and be work able with industry standard equipment for film cleaning.

Lipsner-Smith CF3000-MK VI ultrasonic film cleaners are being used at KodaKs research facilities in both Rochester, Ny and Chalon, France. Both machines are being used to test potential new solvents under actual working conditions.
