The RTI Film Group now offers customers a unique full line of DI and Laboratory equipment all designed, manufactured and supported in-house.

In a deal finalized in March 2009, RTI acquired the film scanning and recording equipment business of Imagica Japan. RTI is now busy integrating production and support into its existing Chicago factory. Delivery times for new equipment and spare parts will not be affected. Imagica Japan will continue to be available for both factory and customer support for the foreseeable future.

A very exciting development. For the first time in the post-production equip- ment industry a major film laboratory equipment manufacturer has integrated an established leading supplier of high-end scanners and recorders so as to be able to offer laboratory and Digital Intermediate customers a full equipment and service package from one company.

Package Savings
Multiple, high-end film equipment being built by the same company, means RTI can lower cost of manufacture and pass on the savings to customers. For example, Imagica prices have already been greatly reduced.
